Samaritans offer a 24-hour toll-free emotional support hotline throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland and can be contacted on 116 123

United Kingdom Veterans Helplines
UK Veterans needing urgent help in a crisis can contact 0808 1914 2 18 or can phone +44 1253 866 043 from abroad. The veterans helpline is open from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
After hours emergency calls will be given the option to be routed to Samaritans 24hr helpline.

Veterans in Wales can call 0845 46 47
Veterans in Scotland can call 111
